The Daily Grind (Schedule)

Since everybody has posted at least something about what we do everyday, I will cave in to the peer pressure and write about our daily schedule, too.

6:45am -- wake up, and finish homework or look over new characters
8:00 - 8:50am -- first 大班课 (large class), which is like 12 students to 1 teacher, a small lecture about the lesson and grammar patterns
8:50 - 9:00am -- break, some just hang out, others do their homework... it's all up to you!
9:00 - 9:50am -- second large class section, same as the first one
9:50 - 10:10am -- large break
10:10 - 11:00am -- first 小班课 (literally, small class, but more like drill section), which is 4 students to 1 teacher, answering questions using grammar patterns.
11:00 - 11:10am -- break
11:11 - 12:00am -- second drill section, usually there's a debate or role-play at the end to practice the grammar patterns

-=-=-=-=- LUNCH! -=-=-=-=-

1:30 - 2:20pm *or* 2:25 - 3:15pm -- 单班课 (single class), 1 student to 1 teacher, talk about the lesson and grammar patterns, the teacher will also help you with the stuff that you're especially having trouble with.  Or, you can just chat, which is also very fun and helpful for learning Chinese.

7:30 - 9:30pm -- Office hours, where there's a few teachers and you can just come in and ask questions or talk with them.  I don't think too many people came, but I honestly think that this was a very good time to get to know the teachers.

11:59pm -- Start homework, writing essay, or learning new characters.  Haha, just kidding!
